April----- Aprilis

 

April weather in Missouri: you just never know! One day it is 85F degrees and sunny and windy, next day it is 60F degrees and cloudy..... it literally alternates like that! So we have our winterjackets, flip-flops, rainboots and sunscreen at hand always. Aprilisi idojaras Missouri-ban: sosem lehet tudni! Egyik nap 33 fok van es sut a nap es fuj a szel, masnap 15 fok es esore all.... szo szerint igy valtakozik az ido! Ugyhogy mindig keszenletben tartjuk a telikabatot, papucsot, gumicsizmat es naptejet! Barmi lehet! 

Benjamin is really enjoying living here on campus. There is a big green hill right in front of our house and a big playground. There are lots of kids in the neighborhood and they are always running around and playing. So he has a lot of friends. He is almost 2 and a half now, potty-trained, wears 3T size clothes and size 8 shoes. Benike nagyon szeret itt lakni. Van egy nagy zold domb a hazunk elott es egy nagy jatszoter. Rengeteg gyerek van a szomszedsagban, akik mindig kint jatszanak es szaladgalnak. Igazi gyerek-paradicsom. Sok kis jatszopajtasa van. Mar majdnem 2 es fel eves ugy no mint a gomba. 

 Here you can see our new pets, 2 little minnows. Scott and Benjamin caught them in the Lake of the Ozarks. We haven`t named them because we are planning to throw them back in the lake in June. Benjamin loves to watch them and feed them. We originally had 3 of them, but one of them snapped after 2 days and decided to jump. I found him in the morning under the couch dried out.   Itt lathatjatok a ket uj kis haziallatunkat, a halakat. Scott es Benike fogta oket az Ozark tobol. nem adtunk nekik nevet, mert juniusban ugyis visszadobjuk oket a toba. Benike nagyon szereti nezni es etetni oket. Eredetileg 3 hal volt, de az egyik nem birta tovabb es 2 nap utan kiugrott. En talaltam meg reggel kiszaradva a fotel alatt. 

 A week ago we had the pleasure to have Tom and Kim Dryer visit us here in Missouri. They came all the way from Michigan. We had so much fun, the guys went fishing for fish, we girls went fishing for good deals and the outlet mall. We also visited the Bridal Cave which is a beautiful cave. We were truly blessed by their company all weekend!
Egy hettel ezelott abban a szerencseben vagy inkabb aldasban volt reszunk, hogy jo barataink, Tom es Kim meglatogattak minket Michigan-bol. Nagyon jo volt minden egyutt toltott kis ido. A fiuk elmentek pecazni, mi lanyok pedig vasarolni. A Menyasszony Barlangot is megneztuk, ami egy gyonyoru termeszeti kincs. 
Micsoda hetvege volt!

June 27 Monday: Planned departure for Michigan.
We are planning to base out of Michigan for approximately 1 year for our PARTNERSHIP DEVELOPMENT or deputation. We need to raise our support for overseas church planting ministry. 
June 2012: Leaving for Hungary for our Hungarian partnership development. 
November 2012: Leaving for South East Asia.

2012 Junius: Indulas Magyarorszagra, ahol szinten szeretnenk gyulekezeteket latogatni es a missziorol beszelni. 
2012 November: Indulas Del-Kelet Azsiaba.

The Loughs in February 2011

 Well....we are doing well!!!  Praise the Lord for he keeps us alive and provides for our needs. jOL VAGYUNK!!! hALA LEGYEN AZ URNAK AKI ELETBEN TART MINKET ES GONDOSKODIK ROLUNK.

Some news: NEHANY HIR:

 Edina stepped out of the Linguistics course... It has been very difficult to keep up with the 8-10 hours of homework daily. I had to neglect the house, Benjamin and everything else. I also realized that i didnt enjoy it at all. I LOVE to learn languages but analysing them? mmm...not so much! :)

So I have total peace about the decision and I am enjoying spending a lot of time with 

Benjamin and Scott.   (This course was an EXTRA course, only optional. I have already graduated from the church planting training!)

Edina kilepett a nyelveszeti treningbol. Nagyon nehez volt a napi 8-10 oranyi hazi feladat mellett ellatni a hazat, a csaladot. Arra is ra kellett jonnom, hogy nem nekem valo volt. Nem szerettem ezt a fajta nyelveszeti elemzest, az agyam nincs ra beallitva. Nagyon szeretek nyelveket tanulni. De elemezni oket? mmm....azt mar nem annyira! :) Ugyhogy teljes bekessegunk van a dontes felol, es mostmar sok idot tolthetek Scottal es Benikevel. (Ez egy EXTRA, valaszthato kurzus volt. A gyulekezetplantalasi kikepzest befejeztem decemberben!)

 Scott continues to be full-time staff  here at the Missionary Training Center. He is doing a lot of computer work, all surveying related for the building projects. Scott tovabbra is teljes ideju munkatarskent dolgozik itt a Misszios Kikepzo Kozpontban. Sokat dolgozik a szamitogepen, mind foldmeresi es tervezesi dolgok az epitesi projektekhez. 

 Benjamin is potty trained!Now that I dont have classes I have the chance to spend a lot of time with him. That made it easy to finally potty train him... after a year of trying. Benjamin szobatiszta! Most hogy mar nem kell orakra jarnom, egesz nap vele vagyok. Ez megkonnyitette, hogy vegre megszabaduljunk a pelenkatol.... amivel mar egy eve probalkozunk. 

 We are moving up to Michigan in June. We are planning to spend a full year there doing Partnership Development (or deputation). We need to raise our support to be able to go to the field. (We are preparing for tribal church planting in Asia). 
Juniusban koltozunk vissza Michigan-be! Egy teljes evet tervezunk ott tolteni ahol a tamogatasunkat kell osszegyujtenunk. Azsiaba keszulunk teljes ideju szolgalatba, torzsi gyulekezetplantalasra.

 We are half-way through our fabulous trip to Hungary.  We are so thankful to the Lord that He made this visit possible. It is lovely to visit with our family, friends and  church.
Here are a few more  interesting things from HUNGARY! 
 Mesés Magyarországi utazásunk felénél járunk.  Annyira hálásak vagyunk az Úrnak, hogy lehetővé tette ezt a látogatást. Olyan szuper időt tölteni a családdal, barátokkal és a gyülekezetünkkel!
Úgyhogy álljon itt most még néhány  érdekesség Magyarországról!

 We walk a lot! I mean.... we walk EVERYWHERE!
It is so convenient and easy. And a good exercise too! So who needs a car? The only thing that is not so comfortable sometimes is the heat. But unlike Missouri here it cools down very quick around 6PM. 
Nagyon sokat sétálunk! Tulajdonképpen MINDENHOVA gyalog megyünk. Ez a legkényelmesebb, legegyszerűbb. És jó testmozgás! Úgyhogy kinek kell az autó? Az egyedüli dolog, ami nem mindeig kellemes, az a hőség. De Missourival ellentétben itt este 6 óra körül kellemesen lehűl a levegő. 

If we want to go to the city, we just take the bus or the train (mostly the bus). Once in the city we usually walk but there is excellent public transportation too. (tram, bus, train, trolley bus)

Ha mondjuk Debrecenbe akarunk menni, akkor buszozunk vagy vonattal megyünk. (általában buszozunk) Debiben pedig gyalogolunk, de helyi közlekedés is nagyon jó. (busz, vonat, villamos, troli)

The bus is cheap and it takes you anywhere. The city of Debrecen is about 25 minutes from Edina`s hometown. It costs about a dollar fifty.
There is usually no AC on the bus so it could get HOT! Especially if there are a lot of people squeezed on the bus. 
A busz elég olcsó és elvisz mindenhova. Debrecen kb. 25 percre van Böszörménytől. Kb. 1 dollár 50 centbe kerül egy jegy. Általában nincs légkondi a buszokon így eléggé bemelegedhet. Főleg ha egy csomó ember szuszakolódik fel. 

Last Saturday we went to the baptism ceremony of our church. They had 6 people getting baptized. This is a church that we can call home in Hungary. There is excellent teaching, great leadership, strong prayer background, fellowships and lots of love which draws a lot of people. 
Múlt szombaton a gyülekezetünk bemerítésére mentünk, ahol 6 új bemerítettnek örülhettünk. Igazán otthonunknak hívhatjuk ezt a gyülekezetet. A tanítás kiváló, nagyszerű vezetők, erős imaháttér, közösségépítés és sok sok szeretet, ami sok embert vonz oda. 

All year we have been dreaming about our favourite Middle-Eastern restaurant, the EFFENDI. We love their lamb gyros. It is simply delectable!
Egész évben arról ábrándoztunk, hogy újra az EFFENDI-ben ehetünk. Ez egy közel-keleti étterem Debrecenben. A gyros-uk egyszerűen elmondhatatlanul finom!

A lot of traffic lights have timers to tell you when the light is gonna change. Quite handy!
Sok közlekedési lámpa fölött van számláló, hogy tudd mikor fog váltani. Nagyon hasznos!

 Benjamin`s VERY FIRST bus ride!
Benike első buszozása! 

Edina`s mom and dad have 3 gardens in which they grow all kinds of vegetables and fruits. Edina`s mom goes out to the market in the weekends and sells her produce. On the picture: She had just finished at the market.  
Edina szülei 3 kertben is termelnek zöldségeket amiket aztán Edina anyukája elad a piacon. A képen éppen piacolás után vagyunk. 

We spoke at Edina`s grandparents` church last Sunday. We talked about tribal missions which is not a familiar thing in Hungarian churches. They were very interested and had lots of questions.
Múlt vasárnap Edina nagyszüleinek a gyülekezetében beszéltünk főleg a törzsi misszióról. Nem sokat tudnak erről a magyar gyülekezetekben. De nagyon érdeklődőek voltak és sok kérdésük is volt. 

The other day we took Benjamin to the public beach which he LOVED! Especially the other kids` toys!
Pár napja elvittük Benikét a strandra amit nagyon élvezett. Különösen a más gyerekek játékait. 

 It is a neat opportunity to hang out with Edina`s elderly grandparents. They are believers and love their youngest great grandchild! Edina was able to take several videos of her grandparents telling old stories like how they had met or stories from their childhood.
Nagyszerű egy kis időt tölteni a papákkal mamákkal is.  Edinának nagyon jól sikerült videófelvételeket sikerült készítenie ahogy nagyszülei régi történeteket meséltek többek között arról, hogy annak idején hogyan találkoztak. 

 Edina`s brother, Adam and his fiancee, Enikő. They are working on their first apartment which we went to see this afternoon.
 Edina tesója, Ádi és menyasszonya, Enikő első lakásukon dolgozgatnak. Azt mentünk el megnézni. 

 We love MAGNUM Ice Cream Bars! Did you know that there are no calories in them if no one sees you eating them???


Nagyon szeretjük a MAGNUM jégkrémet! Tudtad, hogy nincs benne kalória ha senki nem látja, hogy megeszed???

Very common. Vegetable stand on the street.
The produce is always fresh and it is closer than the market.
Nagyon népszerű. Zöldséges az utcán. Az áru mindig friss és közelebb van, mint a piac.
